You see the woman step out in front of the los angeles fire department truck, and into the street. She is trying to get to the drivers side to ask the firemen a question. She’s in the street and the firemen ignore her and start to maneuver the fire truck around an elderly disoriented woman with a walker in the middle of the road. As the truck gets around her, she even waves her hand to try and get their attention. Once she realizes they aren’t stopping, she heads to the drivers side of the next fire truck while still remaining in the street. Even that fire truck starts to drive away. 
Luckily there is one fireman that is not yet on the truck that comes over to speak with her. 
She obviously doesn’t know what is happening or if she can safely go back in her home and she is afraid. He helps her onto the sidewalk but then he leaves. Denise is the one that helps her get home.

  1. I’m all for keeping the cops in line and maybe even stepping over the line. But can’t you cut the firefighters a break? What they do is save lives and that’s all they do.

  4. It seems like in all the coloring books and propaganda media, firefighters are mostly either rescuing cats from trees OR WALKING OLD LADIES ACROSS THE STREET. It's all bullshit. Stop expectang ANY public official to act with professionalism let alone go above and beyond. This is the reality folks.

  11. I'm all for public servants doing the right thing even when no one is looking but Firefighters need to be held accountable too! A few of them have this thing about entitlement and this huge ego. Fuck them and they need to be checked too. Just like with cops they learn from their superiors and that needs to be changed. I stated on a video a few months ago about a tyrant POS from L.A. county FD, I had an encounter with and he's lucky I wasn't recording but I sure let him know that I knew my rights.

  15. I live in the UK, and once I saw a similar incident involving a car. The car owner was too impatient to wait till the old lady got out of his way, he missed her literally by inches. Fortunately a cop happened to be coming out of a nearby shop, saw it happen, and ticketed the shit out of him.

  18. She said she was scared to death when they heared about the gas leck. Don't rip information out of context!
    You also complain that the firefighter who talked with her didn't wear a mask, but you ignore that she neither did wear one.
    And as far as I see did the former bring her also onto the sidewalk.
    That the 1st truck drove around her was in fact uncalled.

  20. I would like to start doing these audits in or around Jerseyville, IL. and expand from there. But I would like to find a good lawyer to defend me first, just to be prepared. I cannot find one around here. Any suggestions?

  22. This is despicable that the LAFD could not see that this elderly lady made it home safely instead of leaving her by the side of the street confused and upset. The LAFD should be better than this.

  23. I am so outraged by the behavior of these firefighters! I used to hold them to a different standard than the police..What in the world were they thinking? I have been taught from a young age to respect elders..My parents are elderly and I take care of them with respect. After watching this despicable behavior I would like to help somehow…This is probably not the first or last time this will happen..😪😪

  24. If I hadn't watched this video I would have a hard time believing it. I'm still can't believe this happened. In it's way, one of the most shocking videos I've ever seen. Where did thier humanity go? A few minutes to ensure an old and fragile lady was safe in her home and some advice on what she needed to do is all that was needed.

  25. She was in no danger. Those tiller drivers are good at what they do and they had plenty of light coming off those trucks.

  26. Yea they have a tough job but they still could have helped that poor woman back to the house she has a walker and they could have helped her ain't cutting them down they just should have helped her

  27. Call the fire department and ask them why they didn't help more. That was just sad to see , you would think her husband would have came out. Maybe in her mind he did firefighters should have made sure things were fine.

  28. I understand the courtesy thing, but they seemed to know how to maneuver that rig pretty well. They didn’t “almost hit her”, and they didn’t “leave her in the middle of the road”.

  31. I got the feeling the only reason the one fireman offered to walk her to the door was because the camera was present . He should have insisted to walk her in the front door . Bless her sweet heart 🙏♥️ Well done Denise and Johnny

Shocking totally disgusting…….but I’m truly not surprised at all in my opinion as a ward sister the most arrogant patients I have encountered are either police men / woman or firemen men / women and I promise you they have a demeanour of grandeur expect to be given priority over the other patients and as a health care professional all my patients were as important as the next patient, and because of that they were really put out that they would have to wait for their surgery like every one else. And don’t start me on visiting times my policy was two visitors to a bed purely to stop for the patients benefit and of course we made allowances for someone who’s families were coming from a distance or whatever reason that warranted two or more but I can’t tell you the amount of times I have gone and asked 6 or more firemen to wait in the day room and the same with police and because they came in uniform I really think they thought us nurses and medical staff would be swooning over them so they get away with it

  39. The driver of the latter truck must've learned that maneuver during training. He kept at least a ten foot clearance from her the entire time in that little cul-de-sac. Hopefully she has some relatives that check on her from time to time. Why she decides to walk down the middle of a street to avoid the sidewalk is beyond me.
