instead of giving you so much trouble and trying to violate state laws because of what they need to make their life easier, why dont they try this hard arguing with their auditors or whatever and tell them they need to change their system because people arent required to give certain info. they're sending pressure in the wrong direction. the auditing process needs to be hassled and changed not the people coming in to get records.
