We believe that many of our rights and civil liberties as American citizens on American soil are at great risk and that a simple act of civil disobedience has the power to effect great change. While we have no interest or intention in breaking any law, we are willing to stand up for freedom and the constitution at any time and at any place and do so in a responsible and productive manner. It is our goal to create free and open discussion whenever possible in an effort to educate both ourselves and anyone with a desire to learn. A well known rule of government is that ignorance is no excuse for the law. It is our stand that we as Americans have been either uninformed or misinformed regarding our laws and rights for far too long. We are not attorneys or scholars, however we have been involved in professional photography for over 30 years and have had our rights and freedoms challenged more times than we can remember. No one group or person has the ability to effect change across the board, however we are committed to doing our part by continuing to stand up for our constitutional right to free press and the right to take photographs and video in public. All donations will be used exclusively to further this cause. Specifically, we  need to upgrade our computer, video editing software and purchase additional video gear. We want to thank you in advance for your support of what we do and want you to know that we are committed to working harder than ever to defend our rights, your rights and the Freedom to Film in Public!!

  11. This whole thing about keeping witnesses and jury members out of the snap of a picture is moronic. This should be very similar to the HIPPA laws in which the onus should be on the government to keep them out of the areas where a camera can take their picture. This means that they need to make hallways that are to only to be used by such people and is a restricted area. But that is too difficult for them to comprehend and they instead try to take the easy road and trample on our rights to accommodate those people.

    I'm the most outspoken in my family. And sadly, I use the F word when talking about something I'm passionate about and making the points that I know I'm right about.
    My mom raised a lady but my daddy won! I talk like a sailor they say. hahaha

  16. Serious suggestion for you guys – you should print business cards with the phrase “Congratulations! You passed a 1st amendment audit. Thank you for standing up for all of our rights.“ printed in bold letters on the front, and information about your channel on the back. Then you would hand them out to anyone who treated you professionally without telling you to put the camera away. I think it would be a great way to spread awareness, bridge the gap, and foster positive relationships between you and the public servants who work for you.

  19. Cops do not know law they know code they're basically guys that just got out of high school. I worked as a defense investigator and private investigator and deal with these fools many times they're really brainwashed fools

    Maryland should be forced to buy a fishing license when they have an inherent right to fish ! Is that not charging a fee to participate in a right ?
