I wonder I you could FOIA their dashcam & bodycam videos. With that & news footage, along with your scanner audio, you could reconstruct the scene. Then, with the absence or presence of skidmarks, maybe you could figure out bullet trajectories, etc.
Maybe not with this case. But your detective skills may justify it in the future.

Wait for the news to defend the cops and then send them the dispatch audio and ask them how a cop got injured from a toy gun. Also, who reported shots fired and why.

well not to excuse or justify officers, but we're missing SO many details from what I am reading in the articles… did he have the toy gun out? was it pointed at police? was he just tossing it? if he was pointing a toy gun, which you can't always tell in a split second it is, would you be offended if the officers did shoot if it was pointed at them? so many questions and so little data… but thats the world we live in, instant judgement without the full array of details… I suspect body/car video isn't coming soon…

Seems more concern for "officer down" than "suspect" shot and hit by a car! Cops will always be cops…..never accountable for their irresponsible actions. It's sickening !
