I heard a call about a prowler seen around the san pedro library on 9th and gaffey….i was there really quick, stood around waiting….finally see this cop car drive by, but it turns up 9th, so with no opening on that side i expect to see them drive around the block, but didn’t, SO I WALK A BLOCK UP AND FOUND them….flirting with some chick…..then tells his partner to tell dispatch “its clear” ARE YOU SURE? how do you know that unit was assigned the call? or that they weren't clearing from a previous call? if they had just arrived, the dispatcher wouldn't be asking if they were clear.

I'm guessing his friends on the force will be ribbing him about this one !!! lol !!!  I'd watch your back though, because he will get angry especially if his superiors hear of this and do any kind of discipline for flirting on the job instead of going on the call. Usually when a cop heads towards a call like that, they tell the dispatcher that they are responding so that if other cops are busy or not as close as he is, they don't have to worry about responding themselves.
