Laura,I really appreciate how you explain all this,rights alot of us dont know we have.I was given life in prison when I was 18 and alot of what determined me getting that life sentence was a probation report done on me and me being labeled a gang member at age 13 by officers just like in this video.Laws were changed and I was finally released in 2013 but I had already been in prison for 17 years.Thank you for all you do,if I can help in any way dont hesitate to let me know

29. I’ve seen a few videos of cops cataloging a driver’s and/or passenger’s tattoos, but it’s still a new topic to me. First, it exceeds the time limits for completing what the stop was for, right? Second, can’t you say no to being checked for tattoos? And if you have one visible, refuse to pose for a picture? Plead the 5th to not remove my hand from my forearm tat? It all seems very invasive, and prolongs a stop.

    BTW, I'm in Tennessee, which is 100x more constitutionally supportive than Cali. I can only imagine how often the police violate people's rights out there. You're a very brave soul to even be out there, doing what you do.
