I cannot find per statute that complaint forms must be notarized. In fact, I believe the statute says complaints can be anonymous. No. The cars do not have to be left running. The battery system can handle the computers, repeaters and other equipment as most of that is powered down when the car is off. The computer needs to be shut down or have constant power. But it is NOT a huge drain.

Don’t you realize, public servants are much higher class than regular people. They call themselves public ‘officials’ (and heroes) and call us ‘civilians’. It makes them feel more military and sovereign. THEIR comfort and safety is what life is all about. We’re not forking over tax dollars for $50,000 vehicles filled with $50,000 worth of equipment just so these higher class sovereigns can get in and be too hot or too cold! They act like military but ALSO like kings! Unlimited authority feels good! Why shouldn’t their surroundings also feel good?! Here’s something to think about, when was the last time you heard that stupid ‘on a cop salary argument’. I’d say it was some time before they all started making $100,000 a year.
