So sad. My dogs love people and would love to run up to even this officer to get love and it sucks that they lost a sweet puppy because the officer wanted to shoot first and ask questions later. He could have gotten back in the car with his gun drawn and ordered them to get their dog but instead he let the dog run up to him without even trying to avoid killing their pet
I would actually let a dog bite me before drastic measures . Im in a wheelchair something new to many dogs and theyve run up to me barking and growling within a foot but never biting i just kept rolling .
