You know military members drive Teslas on base & they record every thing. When bases open their gates to the public they can’t stop people from recording. Security Forces have very little control over civilians, even on base. I think you might have a case but you would have to talk to a lawyer who specializes in military law.
What many do not take into account, ( civilians and government actors as well) is whether or not the auditor is physically on the base property or not Carolina Auditor was arrested because ,even unknowingly he WAS on base property. The reason was the base property had a diagonal line, and he thought he was safe thinking the line was squared off. So, as long as you were on the OUTSIDE of the base property line, the "MP's" had NO business accosting you at all. Not ONLY did they not have authority to detain/arrest you, but they were OFF base and had NO authority to do ANYTHING. It all boils down to where the property line is, and which side of it YOU are..
