…and myself toured around the fence of Jacksonville Navy Base (https://www.cnic.navy.mil/JACKSONVILLE) While we encountered 3 people that were very interested in our presence. The guards at the main gate were using binoculars, and a Navy Police officer followed us for several minutes yelling at us to clear the area. This was the fastest rejection of a consensual encounter I have ever had.

8:00 You certainly can go right up to that plane and look at it. That's what it is there for. It's an exhibit, for Christ's sake. You most certainly CANNOT be arrested for approaching and photographing an exhibition aircraft that is displayed in an easily accessible place, clearly outside their security fence. (They may come out and tell you its on base property, and you will have to step off, but that's all they can do. There are very clearly no trespass restrictions in place for that aircraft unless they become verbal.)
