Government officials (including law enforcement) should be required to only use their government issued devices, which automatically backup all communication, when conducting work-related communication. Using a personal device for work, should be a felony, unless there is an emergency and the government-issued device is not working. In that case, the communication should be immediately surrendered for backup.

Anything done with the public employees on the towns watch is public information (all public employees , whether hired or elected should know this and held accountable for it). Problem seen is what is spoken and what is a written document , may be two different things , why transparency is important .
