Yes, you probably picked-up the correct 'signals', there are numerous locations like that in the USA, and maybe other countries. Most often there are reasons for that. Cathy O'Brian and Mark Phillips used to give lectures as well as Brice Taylor, is there a possible connection, I do not know.
