  1. I remember a few years back I was stripping topsoil in a gravel quarry not far from a WW2 airbase and came across half a belt of machinegun ammo, called the quarry manager ask about their EOD policy…………They didn’t have one so I took charge and used my companies which was to inform the police. Two young female officers came out. It was their first EOD incident; they were unsure what to do. They phoned their sergeant on speaker phone who passed the call to their inspector who passed the call to the forces firearms division. The firearm division phoned bomb disposal. Bomb disposal told fire arms division said its fine, put it in an evidence bag just don’t hit them with a hammer. Fire arms division told the inspector its fine, put it in an evidence bag just don’t hit them with a hammer. The inspector told the sergeant its fine, put it in an evidence bag just don’t hit them with a hammer. The sergeant told the two young officers its fine, put it in an evidence bag just don’t hit them with a hammer. The two young officers were still very unsure of themselves and turned to me and the quarry manager and asked what they should do. He gave them a bag, and I gave them a hammer………………………..oh the look on their faces was priceless

  2. NO PERMISSION REQUIRED TO USE HIS IMAGE. One thing that causes confusion is the concept of requiring releases to use a photograph for a “commercial” purpose. A lot of people (understandably) take this to mean photographs taken to make money for someone. However, in this context, commercial really means something more along the lines of for explicit advertising or marketing purposes, e.g. the photo will be used in an advertisement. Most other uses are considered editorial, even if it is some supermarket tabloid. The photos still, at least in theory, need to be taken in a place where there is no expectation of privacy i.e. public venues.

Generally, courts have held that while in a public area that is viewable by third parties, there is no reasonable expectation of privacy. “There is no law in the US that prohibits making video recordings of people in a public space without their consent. In addition, if the purpose (commercial or otherwise) is in the nature of journalism, the First Amendment kicks in and overrides the personality issue. This is why paparazzi may take photographs of famous people, even without their consent: the photographs are of journalistic merit and thus may be used, even commercially, without the consent of those photographed. Anything shot in public is free to use for editorial or artistic use. And anyone newsworthy is editorial.

There are some limited exceptions, but in general, a photographer can use any photo they take on their website, in an art gallery, or sell prints of that image as a work of art without a model release. You can resell it, you just can not use it to promote a product. Anything shot in public is free to use for editorial or artistic use. And anyone newsworthy is editorial. In the United States, photographs that are taken for editorial use in a public place generally enjoy Constitutional protection under the right of free speech.

Even though the laws vary from state to state, all privacy law must permit uses that are protected by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution—freedom of press and freedom of expression. These rights outweigh an individual right of privacy. Consequently, even if a photograph is licensed or sold for a fee, it will not be “commercial use” under privacy law if the end use is an editorial (newsworthy) or expressive use (such as a photograph displayed as a work of art).

  3. First off that police officer is totally wrong, he could fill him all he wants to put it on YouTube. But that office rsure has that arrogant facial features and the arrogant eagle personality to go with it. I mean come on it comes off like a tough guy but he's afraid of you approaching him. Lmao! Dude you need to get another job. Those are the kind of policemen who end up killing someone. I truly believe those are the ones that want to shoot someone. Obviously he fantasizes about it and already has a scenario imprinted in his mind to even make that totally stupid statement. Don't these police officers understand when they come up on you and they are totally disrespecting you as a man by acting like they are superior to you that they are not going to get any respect. At least from me. Yeah this officer is a real tool

  4. An officer that old without stripes has either been so bad he's been demoted or he's so bad he's never been promoted. Don't know which is worse…

  5. Stupid old cop… hell bent on making himself look a complete fool online forever 🤷‍♂️

  6. So according to this baby he is above the law? pretty much all Law Enforcement extort money while they film private citizens on duty serving the local Government just as he is with his body cam.

  7. Ive seen these kids before and a few other vids of this type, every instance they have to call something in the cops just make it sht show… I remember Jiggin with Jordan was cleaning up a canal somewhere, when he got our of the water a cop wrote him a ticket for swimming without a life vest, he wears those ultra thin vests, showed the cop it was Coast Guard approved,,, still got a ticket…LOL Fing Ftards…

  8. Never ever call the police for help they are only there to help THEMSELVES AND THEY ARE ALSO DANGEROUSLY STUPID!!!!!

  9. Los Angelas California is 2 hours behind Alabama.! No police officer knows all of the laws. Alabama is NOT On Fire 🔥 We are NOT Having Earthquakes and Alabama is NOT Sinking into the Ocean and if you want to talk about a Cop not knowing every Law…… We Don’t Have anyone named “Pelosi” Representing our State.

  10. I grew up in Bergen County! (Haworth)
Yes, that cop has not a clue as to filming rights. 🙄 (worked on film shoots, commercials etc, this has nothing whatsoever to do with filming him while he’s on duty)
Ugh, I can’t imagine the the illegal things that transpired prior to smart phones.
Thank you always johnny five o. 👍😊💜
