I live in Nashville, and like every week or so I see those majestic A-10s fly over my house, it’s amazing!
I was at Wright-Patterson in Ohio. They had 3 golf courses, 3 stocked fishing lakes, a bowling center, a theater, swimming pool, library, and you could hunt on base. You name it, they had it. You could literally spend a life time on base and never leave it.
You jerks were standing in a public street, which is unlawful an you were on the RR right of way. In the first case it's called jaywalking; in the second place it's called trespassing. You do understand that you were just lucky you weren't arrested on both charges?

I am pro 1st amendment auditing as far as public officials (cops) but when you involve the military (not the coast guard) your motives are questionable. Are most auditors anti-military?

A-10 Warthog. The ugliest jet ever loved by soldiers all over the world. When that 30 mm Gatling gun starts launching 14 ounce projectiles out of its 199 inch long barrels, anything armored is disabled and anything unarmored disappears in a misty rain of body parts. The moment enemy soldiers here the unmistakable sound of that gun they do everything they can to become invisible. And the gun is just one of multiple weapons the A-10 carries into battle.
The fenced area across the street is base housing. It is considered part of the base.

Pilots can only fire short bursts as the recoil is so immense, it will slow the jet down. It's mounted in the nose so the recoil won''t knock her off course.
