  4. Hang in there. This ME/CFS & MCAS patient has a fair idea of how wiped out you feel. Although I am luckily mobile when I have to do things like get groceries. I am very sorry to hear of your struggles. You are being tougher than people can imagine. No shame in doing nothing for hours and hours. The body knows what it's doing. I just heard of a very new mouse study where they stimulated a certain nucleus of cells in the hypothalamus, and it induced a fatigued state (what's called "sickness behavior"). I thought that was pretty interesting. It has been some people's theory there might be just such a nucleus of cells that turn on a switch. I have complained about "that darned hypothalamus!" for years. Maybe this is one more thing I'll be griping about it for. Of course we have much more to learn, but I am always happy when someone finally does more research into it.

  17. My brother and entire family went through covid about 2 months ago. He got well anf I have seen him in person once – I have not gotten it. My prayers for your full recovery have bern made. All you need do is thank Him for his blessing and mercy. We love you.
