Foxy and I stopped by the Torrance DUI/license checkpoint on torrance blvd and prospect ave. Officer Jungers, engaged in small talk with us, he’s no Angel, but he was the first Torrance cop who at least “acted nice”…..then I watch as a car U turns away from the checkpoint, and gets pulled over, so we walked up to the (illegal) stop, and I get an intense evil glare from the motorcycle cop.

Here in Indiana the law states that there must be an "out" an you cannot be stopped or harassed for using it.. plus Indiana passed a new law ..if the cops unlawfully enter your home the resident has a lawful right to shoot them using deadly force..the cops hate this new law… keeps them a bit more honest and think more than once before entering a home unlawfully.
The important thing is that a lot of overtime has been paid to police officers for an un-Constitutional DUI stops.

Regardless what these government employees may claim, they are the criminals who participate in these checkpoints. The Constitution prohibits detainment without probable cause. Police agencies often refer to these illegal activities as "buffets". Sadly, continuation of such civil rights violations will undoubtedly place these roadside robbery operations as target-rich environments for those who think outside the ballot box.
