3. I’ve been both. Currently medically retired. The direction these “public servants” are going is down a bad bad road. I’ve worked with hideously corrupt psychopaths, bullies, and lying, thieving, wife-beaters. They still have their jobs too; in fact, they are hiring more of them!
   Media is largely what gives the general public their perception. There are a vast amount of assholes on both jobs. Power corrupts…it truly does. You do have those of us who, because of things like 9-11, became public servants and we actually worked for the people and honored our oaths. We are a rare and dying breed. I saw so many power driven, lying, corrupt gov officers I’m almost disgusted I ever wore a uniform.

5. I have been retired 10 years from a fire dept.. I am ashamed at some of the ways that I have acted with the public. Watching these auditing videos has taught me many things.

27. I have a gigantic question about Colorado police, why do the police say this is a civil matter when I call them they respond when my neighbor almost hits me with her car. You could see where her tires peeled though the stones behind me. I told the officers involved if this was one of your officers you would say the person in the car almost killed a officer with their car also this when did they take to protect and serve on the cop car doors
