I’m no detective (lol) but seeing as the though passenger side door was wide open, I believe he had a passenger who ran….he had PLENTY OF TIME TO GET AWAY they took 15/20mins to respond…..I heard “possible DUI driver down 1st”, I turn down 1st a couple mins later, and he had just side swiped 2 parked cars and ended up in the middle of the intersection of pacific and 1st.
He had called his dad, (who shows up on scene) and had a tow truck coming- if LAPD would have been 5mins later- they would have missed the whole thing….
Also strange they didn’t do any field sobriety test on this kid, just arrested him,towed the car, and left (the flares on the road)

  2. Haha Laura…you stumble upon the strangest calls. Some of the situations that go on around you are absolutely bizarre.

    Only 2 officers to conduct that “investigation” and handle that scene. But, ride a bike on the sidewalk, especially with a camera and rolling with TMFZ, and watch cops whip onto the block rolling code 3. The LAPD is a fucking joke.

  3. I don't understand why they arrested the boy. He had an accident. They don't know if he is over the alcohol limit. Watching the video looks like the boy had an accident and got arrested just for having an accident. And you said the police towed the boy's car for evidence. Evidence of what? That the boy was in an accident? I don't understand these things.

  4. You guys really try hard to find fault with everything the police do don't you.
    15 minutes to respond to a non injury traffic crash, its not a serious crime and they probably had other more prioritised jobs when called. Nothing wrong with the passenger if there was one leaving, but even you don't know if there was a passenger.
    As for no FST, a driver doesn't have to do an FST or a breath test on the road side. And if they refuse the police will just arrest them anyway and take them back to the station for a breath test. No penalty for refusing the road side FST or breath test.
    Nothing wrong with the Sgt showing up when he did, hes a supervisor, not the responding unit. And those flares will go out in a few minutes leaving just the residue, they could have kicked them into the gutter but its not as if it was a busy street so not a problem leaving them to burn out.
    You just make yourself look silly and petty by trying to find faults where there is none. Some of you cop watchers would criticise a cop helping an old blind lady across the street.

  8. yeah-when they want to harras-you for filming them-theres like-10"cups/ozzifers" the-show up-immediately-but-when theres really work to be done-they dont want to go-there
