  1. Too much alcohol certainly didn't seem to agree with Brandon, making verbal threats to do harm on a law enforcement officer, sober or intoxicated, even if you're only joking around ain't wise, and this deputy pounced on that golden opportunity to make a big example out of the lawyer.

It was clear to me that although Brandon had a big filthy mouth and spurted out a lot of verbal obscenities at the deputy, I never really thought he would go beyond that point by actually doing something really stupid like punching the cop or causing him serious bodily harm with a knife or other dangerous inanimate object.

Once Brandon made that initial threat towards the deputy after he first opened his apartment door that was it, this cop was not gonna let him get away with that, playing loud music and the noise disturbance was no longer the priority.

Using his knowledge of the law Brandon continued on with his intoxicated role playing game by convincing the deputy to not take one single step inside his apartment, by this stage probable cause for Corruption by Threat had already been established in the cop's mind and he could have entered to arrest Brandon.

But the deputy had reason for caution and seemed more interested and content trying to talk Brandon into stepping outside his apartment for a chat which never happened.

When backup was called and Brandon had made it perfectly clear he wasn't gonna leave his apartment, the Sheriffs decided that enough was enough and decided to escalate the situation by threatening the lawyer of forced entry into his home if he refused to open the front door.

Brandon was probably in two minds at that stage, admit defeat and wave his little white flag, or stick fast to his personal principles and pride and wait for law enforcement to come barging in through the front door…he chose the later in the end.

From watching the police bodycam footage it is pretty obvious that Brandon is no fan of law enforcement, maybe his job as a lawyer has opened his eyes as to how unprofessional, corrupt and cruel the legal justice system and police have become in America; or maybe he's just had some bad personal experiences with the cops during his life.

Don't worry Brandon, millions of Americans share the same opinions and feelings as you… you're not alone there.

  2. The man is in his own home doing his own thing. Blame it on the alcohol..leave him the hell alone and let him sleep it off. This was unnecessary

  3. The lawyer is right. As soon as he set over the line, the cop will arrest him for Terrorist and threats.. The best thing to is do not talk to him and show ID your self. Call your attorney. The cop is try to set you up.

  4. Some thing to think about beside the altercation with the ignorant cops is strangers answering questions about the man who lives there.Sounds and looks like Nazi Germany and the Brown Shirts. The cops have become the feelings police.

  5. Officer you can be sorry ppl feel that way, but as long as you want to break into people's homes and arrest them, with NO legal reason, you are truly a POS, and should lose your job and pension!

  6. There is no such thing as a good police officer when it is the job of every police officer to enforce laws that directly violate our constitutional rights

  7. 😅🤣 Corruption by threat against public servant. STILL NEED A WARRANT JACK! I'm sure a judge would have signed off but dumb cops didn't go that route and this is where they screwed up He's right. He's going to win this case…

  8. So… the 'corruption of threat' was dropped, without hitting a courtroom… and he went in court for something else in March, and was arrested for 'disorderly intoxication'… and of course the court found him guilty on it.. and then the next month he was found guilty of Assault… Is that assault from the November incident? this whole thing is all over the place, and this guy really really really needs to get his alcoholism in check.

  9. He had no knowledge who was at the door, just that somebody was disturbing his peace with incessant, boisterous knocking. Perhaps someone was attempting to break in.
He was simply responding using colloquial language denoting anger or frustration. It wasn't a serious threat.

  10. What is the crime that was committed that allowed them to break into his domicile? Because he didn't answer the door? This is America? Free speech? So many wrongs.

  11. Obviously three or more cops conspired to arrest a drunk man. Cops threaten people all the time with arrest, beatings, child kidnapping, extortion, murder and on and on.

  12. Charges will be dropped. There was no exigent circumstance requiring the coproaches to enter his dwelling….done, end of story.
