from what Ive seen thru the many yrs is these cops get bored thats why u see so many ata wreck standing around or anything else they get calls on , so am not surprised they tip the bottle on the job but never get caught
you would think they would ask for blood work. If any of us had even a faint smell of alcohol we'd be subject to a blood sample. Obvious cover up. even on the body cam you could hear them say he smells like alcohol. play it down on paper, cover it up. They do this because they think they are above the law.

And they didn't charge him with a single crime thanks to all those cops who covered it up and lied about it in reports.
This is a sad situation. He must have some severe issues. You could see in the faces of others on scene how sad and upset they were to have to see a fellow officer like this. It did appear in those reports they were covering for him. I get it. I hope he got the help he needed. The Chief is right. Officers have to deal with some horrible people and situations on the job. They are human too. I see comments below blasting this man but, they don't walk in his shoes. How do we know he didn't shoot someone and was trying to cope with it or having to take a raped child to have a rape kit done. We don't know why he did this. These people do deal with alot. Prosecution isn't always the answer.
So all they did was take 20k from him . a pay cut is all he got. So not right. If that was any1 else that story would of ended so different..
