  1. This is such an easy lawsuit with the city. Courts as high up as the SCOTUS has said a person cannot be stop and detained just because they are walking through a high crime area. ATA has done a few videos on this ruling. Unless they have RAS this gentleman has committed, in the act of committing, or is about to commit a crime, they are violating his rights by stopping and detaining him under the 4th amendment.

  2. The sad part of all of this is that the majority of people being unlawfully detained do not even file a complaint against these officers with their department.

  3. This truly sick and disgusting in every possible way, cops out here just EARNING the HATE. Gross…absolutely GROSS behavior on behalf of ALL of these “officers” and their “Department”.

  4. Every time you turn around, you’re running into a stupid flat foot cop that’s not even qualified to wrestle grocery carts at Walmart! In

  5. Two important things to clarify about current year:
They would have detained him for no reason if he was white
If he was actually committing a crime, they'd get scared of incurring riots and leave him alone.

  6. Don't you love when they say, "you got a right" to be where you are and then detain you for being where you are? So they either don't believe you have that right or they just willingly violate it.

  7. James, Please tell me you got the name's of each officer you spoke to and sent the recordings to the owner of the original video so he can show their attorney, it would help His harassment claim significantly.
“A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.” – John F. Kennedy

“It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong.” – Thomas Sowell

“When exposing a crime is treated as committing a crime, you are being ruled by criminals.” -Edward Snowden

The government’s response to known connections of law enforcement officers to violent racist and militant groups has been strikingly insufficient.

Racial disparities have long pervaded every step of the criminal justice process, from police stops, searches, arrests, shootings and other uses of force to charging decisions, wrongful convictions, and sentences. As a result, many have concluded that a structural or institutional bias against people of color, shaped by long-standing racial, economic, and social inequities, infects the criminal justice system. These systemic inequities can also instill implicit biases — unconscious prejudices that favor in-groups and stigmatize out-groups — among individual law enforcement officials, influencing their day-to-day actions while interacting with the public.

It's sad that it's been over 100 years and public servants still don't understand people have rights.. The fact the cops continue to fight the Supreme Court's rulings and Constitutional rights shows their level of respect for law.

and just like how gangs work, recruitment gets people straight out of highschool to train. Where any half-brained sergeant can make them believe they are the ruling class in a police state. These type of high ranking public servants are so far detached from reality that re-training will not be enough, They need to be fired.

“Ignorance of the law is no excuse” is an ancient proverb and principle in law which means that just because a person doesn’t know that committing a particular action is illegal doesn’t mean that the person can go scot-free for doing that thing. The full version of the phrase is: Ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking it.

Under Federal law, 18USC 242, it is illegal for anyone under the color of law to deprive any person of rights, privileges or immunities secured by the U.S. Constitution, under 18 USC 241 it is illegal to conspire to violate such rights. it is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison. This could be applied to local, state, or federal law enforcement or military personnel who abuse the rights of citizens.

  8. All clowns need is to be speaking German and everybody could be fooled into thinking these video clips are from Germany, circa 1939-40. F— the clowns.

  9. This video is making the circuit right now and I'm very happy it's getting attention because it is ludicrous. James always has a unique way of pointing that out with the phone calls. So in the end – what happens to these officers. An objective person would likely say the violation of rights is a serious offense and thusly should receive serious consequences up to termination but in reality we all know this will very likely be no penalty to a 3 day paid vacation, 2 hours of retraining or something like that. It's exactly why policing doesn't work right now but alas 99% of them are good and only 1% is bad. Do you know the statistical probability of 3 bad officers showing up at the same time in a city the size of Tuscaloosa? Let's just say you have better odds hitting the Powerball lottery tonight.

  10. James you are doing too much James you’re funny as shit I know where you’re going with this shit and you have a very good point and I’m glad you’re doing what you’re doing

  11. Imagine walking around at night where crimes take place and being victimized by criminals accusing you of being suspicious of criminal activity.

This just sounds like a mafia really

  12. Yeah, saw the video. Those ACTUAL cops that stopped that poor black guy need to be up on charges for kidnapping and/or whatever is appropriate for holding an innocent American citizen against his will.

  13. Utter disrespect and contempt for this citizen and his rights. Cops assume guilt of THIS CITIZEN because some other person did wrong. Walking to the store AT ANY TIME OF DAY is NOT illegal. As a person who takes a walk every morning and every evening, I can assure you that cops do stop citizens JUST FOR TAKING A WALK. Although, I only got stopped at night, and NEVER showed my ID. cops often told me I was not respectful for exercising my rights. I never swore, cursed, or demeaned them. The Constitution guarantees that citizens are free to go anywhere in the USA anytime that they want, in any manner they desire (such as walking).

  14. Now, James, you should know better… the cops can do what they like.. they just can't brag about it.
(QI protects them in 99.9 percent of cases and the tax payers pick up the tab for the rest.)

  15. My story with American police in 2017. I was a tourist riding bike and was involved in accident( I wasn’t not at fault) with 2 vehicles while riding on a sidewalk: They don’t allow tourist to use Google translate to explain how he suffered in a car crash and lost a piece of his bone on an ankle, falsified police report and American lawyers was surprised when tourist told him that he expects cops will follow the law and people can hold them accountable. That what happened to me in Florida. No cops had any repercussions because it’s nearly impossible to sue them in “lAnD oF thE FreE” .I could not get money for all my injuries Because they falsified report and literally the car and driver did not exist on a paper despite the fact that driver who was at fault did not drive away, was talking to me, he saw my injuries and was absolutely terrified, he repeatedly screamed “I will pay you, I will pay you”. He seemed like a person with compassion because he was sincerely scared and looked like he about to cry”.
P.S. when I was in Moscow they had “Tourist police” who speak English and concentrated in tourist areas so people feel better and can ask them questions while all they offer in USA is shitty attitude, false reports and zero compassion.

  16. I worked 20 years 11pm to 7am and I always hated that I had to respect others sleeping on my days off. But they never had to respect me when I was sleeping.
