36. Last Friday I got kicked off the beach while I was jogging. No idea that it had been closed at midnight the night before, nothing was posted on the beach. The cop tells me the beach is closed. I said ok…my condo is back that way, I'll get off and stay off if that's the new rules. He says, no you get off here. I said, it's a mile away and I don't have shoes. He just shrugged. I stated that what he is doing is actually unconstitutional to which he replies, "the constitution doesn't apply anymore!" I told him, actually the Supreme Court has ruled that in times of national emergency, NO NEW POWERS are granted, only that there is more leeway with regards to enforcement of existing laws. He said he didn't care and if I didn't get off the beach here and now he would issue me a $500 ticket. I said, ok, I'm leaving but the people will not forget how you cops are acting and you will reap what you sow. He asked me if that was a threat? I said no, it's advice from a combat veteran and a retired 22 year LEO. He started to mutter something but I walked away and held up the bird as I did…I was waiting to see if he would get out and chase me, but the chickenshit didn't get out of his truck. Later that day, either that truck or another just like it got stuck in the sand right in front of the condo…the cop/lifeguard (too far away to see if it was the same POS) was out digging out his tires and everyone was on their balconies laughing and clapping at him. Now these are people that would usually be out there helping these guys, but the county went too far and everyone was pissed and the cops were being complete dicks about it. The county reversed the order mid-day on Sat…still, we will not forgive…we will not forget.
