What advice would you give to someone trying to become a police officer who doesn't want to be like 90 percent of the cops you record?
no matter where the camera is, they want it back five more feet, its a submission issue, not a safety issue, they want a mental fix for their addiction to submitting people… they don't uphold law, they uphold emotions…
What cops fail to understand is We the People know what We're getting into so if We get hit by a stray bullet then that's on us, just don't Touch or Grab us!

There is a memo or directive that preceded these events, they look cooincidendal that they are going on but the memo usually outline the tactic and the actions to take and what to right in the report after to justify it all. I saw a NYPD union memo that went out advising how to deal with photographers. Since that is a union email you can't get thru FIOA. But whether an internal memo or from the union, these aggressive interaction are on the rise because the unions and the brass are giving them cover, no discipline if you follow the memos.
When it comes to accountability, their go-to is always, I can't comment because "I wasn't there" or "I didn't see what happened." It's just a convenient and cowardly way of minimizing, justifying, excusing, or flat out denying reality, rather than having the courage to take ownership. Pathetic.
Always film these tyrants Not officers Never never call them officers…
