12. "I'm just letting you know" is a favorite veiled threat from officers. When they know someone knows their rights and they can't lie and push them around…they then say some vague instruction like…"Just stay away from over there..and don't get in the way of our investigation..and don't…..blah blah…I'm just letting you know"..after the vague instructions that the person filming WASN'T doing nor was about to do or anywhere near doing…so in these cases "I'm just letting you know"…means I want to threaten and intimidate you but know I can't so I'll just get my little veiled threat in and talk down to you by saying basically "I'm the boss and theres a bunch of shit I could do to you if you make a wrong move…I'm just letting you know". Cops ego feels better afterwards.

30. She was the one being "rude", barking out directives telling you which part of a Public Sidewalk you can or can't stand on. If the tables were turned, she walked up to your car and waved, and you "darted" out into the street before turning on your headlights, you would get a ticket.
