1. What happened was simple. The pigs smelled blood, they got to the end of the chase last. None of these "servants", being the warmest cookies on the plate, simply attacked, the 1st thing they saw moving.

4. Obviously he interfered. How dare he drive home when there's a car chase and let person fleeing hit their car. Then they had the audacity to sit in the way after getting hit by said person who had stolen the truck. Totally asked for getting roughed up and manhandled. Or… the cops are bloodthirsty idiots?

6. I saw this live and wondered why the cops put the victim in cuffs. If he was in the line of fire, they could have whisked him away without beating the crap out of him. IMHO there were at least 3 or 4 good chances to disable/ block the vehicle. Always seem to give them an escape route, which prolongs the chase. 10. In most states emergency vehicles, cop cars, fire trucks, ambulances etc are not responsible for any damaged. I use to work for an insurance company and my bosses van was hit by a rescue truck and he was not able to go after them for the damages.

    Make that make sense? Only thing I can believe is possible is if they say a firearm immediately in the white vehicle that got hit. No way they ran his info that fast to see warrants no way

27. If I remember correctly, he was charged with failure to obey and obstruction. A different video I watched timed it. From the time his vehicle was struck to hands on by the police, it was 20-25 seconds. During an extremely stressful moment, surrounded by officers with their weapons drawn and being hit by a maniac leading police on a high speed pursuit, his crime was not leaving the area immediately.

30. Ngl, where I live this whole thing would probably have ended with the attempted theft of the work truck in Whittier. People here would have just shot the fool and ended it right there. Fortunately California gun laws protect the criminal in these cases.

31. Cops get out of control in a chase and they all converge on the chase to get in on the action and cause more damage and sometimes deaths There should be a moratorium on police chases

32. The only thing that surprises me is that the LASD didn't throw a Molotov cocktail at the truck while it was still at the gas pumps. Insurance might replace the vic's car, but LASD should be buying him a big new house.
