1. The honor your oath guy is good except when he harasses and attacks private small businesses. It’s terrible how he costs private business customers and money for a stupid YouTube video.

2. If you put your windows up the tint cannot be determined. If a cop asks you to put your window down you do not have to comply since that would be forcing you to aid in an investigation of yourself which is illegal.
   That is my keyboard, armchair lawyer advice and it is just as good as a guy sitting next to you at a barstool at 2:00 am so you can use it as legal gospel.

3. I’m from New Mexico and we love tinted windows. I see people from big cities who drive around with tinted windshields. We don’t typically see that here however.

7. Dark window tint becomes a problem at 4-way stop signs when you are trying to yield to the driver at the right. That’s what right of way actually means. You are waiting for them and they aren’t moving. You don’t know why because their windows are so frickin’ dark you can’t even see the driver, or where they are looking. So yes it’s a safety issue for avg people because you decide to go and then they finally go and there’s a collision. You get dinged for not yielding right of way. I can see an officer safety component as well with very dark windows especially at night, but it’s more about seeing pedestrians and bicycles at night in low light. Again safety, but go ahead and get your windows tinted really dark because it looks cool. When you clip a pedestrian you didn’t see because of your tint, you will find out your car insurance doesn’t cover the entire bill and the rest is on you. That’s if your car insurance doesn’t deny your claim outright because of the tint.

12. The whole law on window tiny is wrong you can wear sunglasses to drive , and you can drive at night ( just so cops know it's dark at night )
    The only reason for this law is to allow cops to see into your property ( car )

13. I had a car that the rear view mirror came off so I just left it off. I got pulled over for not having the rear view mirror and I told the cop that since I have both right and left side mirrors the rear view mirrors is technically not needed. I then pointed out the fact that many pickup truck and other vehicles that do not have rear view mirrors and they are never pulled over because of that. Even semi trucks do not have a rear view mirror.

    You can even have your entire rear window cover with stuff in the back seat and there is nothing they can do about it since you have both left and right side view mirrors. Their only complaint is "We can't see the inside of your vehicle from the back if it is obstructed".

    If you really want to push the limits you do not need the back passenger windows at all and could put in solid doors without windows and still be legal so why all the fuss over the back passenger windows tint to begin with?

17. Who was the bureaucratic idiot that thought it was OK for cop vehicles to have dark tint but not the general public. Why is it OK for them, but not for us. The cops think they are above the law and their overlords agree with them! Even when the citizens vehicles are tinted within allowed limits they whine.

Personally I think people should think about who they vote for both in local state government and federal government and hold some sort of referendum on certain laws like window tints or marijuana DUI stops just a bunch of this small infractions police use to violate your rights and actually change the laws and or make new laws, regulations and codes

35. That dirty deputy should be placed on the Brady list if the sheriff's department doesn't do the right thing and charge him with the crimes of falsifying a legal document (the tickets) and perjury when he lies about it in court.
