Notice @around the 48sec mark….the female officer taps Officer Maynords back, because I think he was getting a little “fresh” with the guy who was having a medical emergency….she wanted to make sure he knew I was there – so he could maybe hold his tongue…..moments like that, that I know me being there is a good thing….anyone know if it’s an actual health code violation to spit so much? This isn’t the first time, almost every time I see Officer Maynord he spits several times….i don’t see a huge bulge in his lip to indicate chewing tobacco…maybe its a nervous habit. The female officer clearly saw the camera and warned him not to do what he was starting to do….bully, intimidate and possibly humiliate what looks like either a homeless guy or someone really down on his luck. His whole demeanor changed when he was warned there was a camera. As far as the spitting, while a health code violation its also a lack of professionalism and general disrespect for the public. Certainly you wouldnt spit in front of someone you have high respect for. These are are all subtle signs of how a cop views his job and the public.
