1. look at all the fan bois chiming in about jenkins because they finally witnessed what appears to be, a good cop. maybe he was just playin' to the camera.

2. Major Jenkins is a great police officer and it appears a wonderful man in general. After see the workings of Claremore police, I began to think that Oklahoma peace officers are all thugs. That was until this fine man showed up. We need more like him. Thank you Major Jenkins you have gone a long way in helping restore public confidence in police in Claremore Oklahoma. People must remember that along with show casing those who disregard the rights of citizens, we must also show those who are brave and courageous enough to be courteous to citizens in a confrontation. Remember that those who want to continue the agrevated violations of citizens rights, will be hostile to an officer who stands for citizens rights. Major Jenkins risks drawing the anger of officers who have already shown they are either willing to break the law, or to look the other way. We all want to show the men in uniform who have a conscience and decent moral compass, that we will support them as well. As for the police officers at the city of Claremore, someone needs to clean house. Residents of Claremore please remember that when police repeatedly break the law and violate the rights of citizens, litigation will ultimately follow. If they are willing to violate the rights of others on little things, they will eventually do great harm causing great damage on larger issues. These cases will become more and more frequent, now that almost everyone has a camera. Unfortunately it is the tax payers who are on the hook for corrupted police. The day coming when the cost of police litigation will be the largest debt that many small towns have. Every one in Claremore should want to know that corruption in it's police department has stopped. Some fo these small towns are just one lawsuit or settlement from bankruptcy as it is. Many small American towns who used to think of law enforcement as a way to generate income, are slowly waking up to find they can't afford the insurance coverage for the liability insurance rates that sort of law enforcement generates. People in many small towns will be facing higher taxes for years paying for this type of official crime. As for speculation that Major Jenkins was playing to the camera, he was looking out for the interest and well being of the public he serves. He also went on the record for all to see. He showed us how the job is supposed to be done.

3. I actually live in claremore OK, and to this day, april 25, 2021. They Are absolutely ridiculous, they do not follow the law at all. They profile for no reason, they will harass you, etc. The claremore police department absolutely needs to be federally investigated.

44. Jenkins said all the right things, except he missed one bit. How about asking to see the evidence so he can begin his investigation. Ultimately, it may look like he was helpful, but he just fobbed you off with a few phone numbers. I'm surprised you fell for that.
