The police are not making a point based on law. They are making points based on there feelings being hurt. Also on the reason that the police feel like there power is being talen.
Well if its there right not to ID. Why should they if it apart of the constitution. Its sounds like to me. Just like any other police across the country it seems that you upset about someones comment. Then do you see were the problem stems from. Cops get on there feelings when citizens don't comply.
How do anyone feel like this is an attack on the police. Just because people are speaking out about the unjust behavior that all citizens of Texas are receiving from law enforcement inn Tx.

Picture this: You are an adult and your mother or father tells you what to do, your reaction is to not obey because your grown! Look at these people and do the same damn thing. "Failure to signal within 100 feet of your turn" they interpret as failure to signal at least 100 feet before the turn. But if you signal more than 100' you're not signalling within 100' of the turn. 🤯 So do they just arrest everybody? 🤪
Besides if I signal ahead of a lane change other drivers sometimes speed up and block me from moving over. Apparently signalling in advance is a sign of weakness to some people! 🤨

Its not like we say "subsidiarity proportionality" to put someone in jail for not using his signal, you could right him a ticket and ask him for ID but lockin someone up in jail for that isnt subsidiar and proportional, what it is is "ridiculous and disgusting"
I was a law enforcer and if i would have done that the judge would take my badge and kicked me out of the force imidiatly.

The reason for the arrest is to increase the fine of extra charges that they create and lie about. Texas takes in an estimated 9 Billion dollars a year in traffic citation, does anyone think there's not a problem. I sure as hell do and that is in just Texas alone.
But the CLEAT defense is surely faulty because they CAN arrest someone for failure to identify on a lawful traffic stop.
They do not need the power to arrest for the class C traffic violation.
