FIRST! I am not one that enjoys auditing the USPS, imagine having that poor job as it is, they just can’t do anything right, so imagine bringing a camera involved. So for those who do, here’s your sign.

This has already been know, but an internal guidance memo has affirmed what we already know.
A portion of poster 7 reads:

“Nothing contained in these rules and regulations shall be construed to abrogate any other federal laws or regulations or any state or
local laws and regulations applicable to any area in which the property is situated.”

  1. But also make sure that any postal employee do not read poster 7 for rules and regulations of the post office, then they can make claims they lacked training or even to having a brain, which is not required to work at postal offices anyways LOL Before hiring anyone to any public position they should have a test before being employed or hired, making an X for their signature should be the first clue not to hire them LMAO. But rarely people on first amendment audits encounter knowledgeable postal employees about the law and poster 7, they just lose their minds like they don't want anyone to know they work behind the counter and are not bosses or managers like they claimed to their friends LOL I think everyone of the public should all wear bodycams at all times no matter what, because people lie, cops lies, public employees lies, public officials lies, politicians lies all the time LOL The generations of liars hard at work and when i hear people say : I have good values and i raised my kids the same way !!! LOL Well sadly in the last 20 years 95% of the people have no values at all, it is all about the money no matter what they have to do for it, they would sell their dad, mom and grandma if they could make a buck with them HAHAHA The ME generation is coming up next good luck LMAO

  2. 39 CFR § 232.1(h)(5)(i) Photographs for news, advertising, or commercial purposes. Except as prohibited by official signs or the directions of security force personnel or other authorized personnel, or a Federal court order or rule, photographs for news purposes may be taken in entrances, lobbies, foyers, corridors, or auditoriums when used for public meetings. Other photographs may be taken only with the permission of the local postmaster

  3. The link in your description only takes someone to the USPS site that shows poster 7, NOT the document in the video. Share the actual copy of that document so others can print it out to use.

  4. Where did you find this? Please name your source. I couldn't find anything published on this as an official statement.

  5. Whoever wrote that stupid fucking article was an "Auditor" because everything listed there as a "Dont" are things you MUST do as an employee because your JOB is to PROTECT YOUR CUSTOMER'S PRIVACY OR YOU WONT HAVE ANY MORE FUCKING CUSTOMERS, DICK HEAD

  6. Sorry Pal, you have your head jammed up your ass. NOWHERE on Poster 7 does it state VIDEO RECORDING or AUDIO recording is AUTHORIZED INSIDE ANY USPS facility. NOWHERE,,,,,,,Its CLEARLY states "PHOTOGRAPHY of Entrances, Lobbies and Foyers is permitted" PHOTOGRAPHY does NOT NOT NOT NOT include, nor does it encompass AUDIO/VIDEO. Audio recording of private citizens WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT (in MOST cases) is called "EAVESDROPPING" and every state has laws against it. These "Auditors" try rushing in with cameras rolling in HOPES the employees dont know their own employer's policies and rules and attempt to bully them because they know generally, employees of any company are terrified of losing their jobs in a civil rights lawsuit. The process is quite simple, Camera men walk in Employee asks them to stop recording or leave, cameramen refuses, employee gets manager asks them to leave or stop , cameramen refuse, Manager calls Police, have cameramen trespassed, Cameramen trespassed and BOOM! DONE! This entire scenario shouldn't take more than? 30 minutes? Its sad im a customer and and know more about USPS policy then their own damn employees.

  7. They speak of baiting but nothing about them behaving like tyrants. Baiting is their new excuse. If they took the "bait", that is unlawful reaction to lawful activity.

  8. Some pretty Bad assumptions in that memo but also some really great advice seems like the Person who wrote it at least watched some auditors and understood what they want. Their rights respected and to be left alone and not have everybody tell you what to do

  9. Audits have had significant impact. These 'warnings' to employees are reiterating the training the employees should already be following.

  10. I work for the post office in Jersey we had a service talk early this morning about it 😁 we only had a couple of people was saying they not allowed to do that and I explained it to them that it is allowed , keep up the good work like always
