We believe that many of our rights and civil liberties as American citizens on American soil are at great risk and that a simple act of civil disobedience has the power to effect great change. While we have no interest or intention in breaking any law, we are willing to stand up for freedom and the constitution at any time and at any place and do so in a responsible and productive manner. It is our goal to create free and open discussion whenever possible in an effort to educate both ourselves and anyone with a desire to learn. A well known rule of government is that ignorance is no excuse for the law. It is our stand that we as Americans have been either uninformed or misinformed regarding our laws and rights for far too long. We are not attorneys or scholars, however we have been involved in professional photography for over 30 years and have had our rights and freedoms challenged more times than we can remember. No one group or person has the ability to effect change across the board, however we are committed to doing our part by continuing to stand up for our constitutional right to free press and the right to take photographs and video in public. All donations will be used exclusively to further this cause. Specifically, we  need to upgrade our computer, video editing software and purchase additional video gear. We want to thank you in advance for your support of what we do and want you to know that we are committed to working harder than ever to defend our rights, your rights and the Freedom to Film in Public!!

  1. YOU SEE HOW THE NEWSPAPER AND LEADING PRESS REPRESENTATIVES PUT OUT INFORMATION TO MAKE JASON SEEM LIKE THE BAD GUY? THAT'S EXACTLY HOW THEY MANIPULATED THE MINDS OF THE MASSES AGAINST BLACK PEOPLE!!!!

  2. Jason, you are 1 of my top 3 favorite Auditors. Tied for 1st place. But you are by far the best tactical linguistic auditor. I thought i watched most your latest videos, for some reason 1 year and older are now popping up. Keep up the great work stay safe and say hello to Ben. Man had he gotten tall. Love your work

  3. Glad the newspaper spoke to you. Just like the government does when investigating. Oh, but that is only to lie on you and bury you (people). The media is the governments. It is their American (governments) way. So sick. So sad.

  4. The issue is a camera that she doesn't control.. just another fat single mother lashing out because the children she used to boss around have fled.

  5. The link to the article in the description shows a slightly different, edited article. It's very similar but several words are changed. Also the headline is different:
"Amagansett Free Library Reports Receiving Harassing Calls After ‘First Amendment Audit’
" vs "Cameraman Visits Library – First Amendment cited in incident"

For instance the very last line is different. Also, "as he tries to record at the scene of a house fire in Montauk." vs "as he records at the scene of a house fire in Montauk."
And "as the town stated that the records he requested could not be found." vs "as the town’s paperwork stated that the records he requested could not be found."
Or "The officer advised the director to add a sign at the entrance of the library stating that recording is prohibited…" vs "Police advised her to add a sign at the entrance stating that recording is prohibited…"
The online version doesn't have an author name and says March 12. So maybe it was posted before the final version that was printed. Maybe they actually watched the video and made some changes?
Who knows, but it's just a bit unusual and thus interesting to me, especially the headline switch.

  6. She k8nda did diffuse the situation AFTER she realized she couldnt BAI you into a incident!
Kind of like Liberals who say they want peace with Trump supporters! Yea they want peace on THEIR terms!

  7. you're my favorite auditor and i've learned a lot from you. I am now going through these old videos and going to watch all the videos you have posted<3 keep up the great work you inspire me. I like in particular your verbal skills in conflict which i've been picking up on. Asserting yourself and questioning things.

  8. That moment when you realize that it’s time to move. This was it huh? Don’t blame you in the least. Best the tyrants can’t see the target.

  9. We should all place bumper stickers that say traffic violations regarding this vehicle are strictly prohibited. Im sure police would find that sign to be legal.

  10. I find it very funny how it's ok for stuff to be written in a newspaper but no documented by recording.
Also, the police reports and DUI arrests. While yes they are Public information. Unless someone knows about it to request I think that is a call out to embarrass those people. What hyprocritial people in this world.
I definitely agree that YOU diffused the situation and that she just didn't want to believe what an honest man with a unobjective view( camera) had to say what was going on.
And yes she came out to you. Which is also funny that if you don't want to be recorded don't get in the cameras way. She went out of her way to approach you and Ben.

As far as the library getting calls and emails that may be true but highly doubt. If they did happen she is the one that warranted those calls to come in.
Just going back to the start of your channel and seeing more of your hometown and the work that you have done. Kudos to being so professional and courteous to everyone you meet. As you always say "you get what you give". You've stood by that 110% since you've started.

  11. Here in Canada we have the same right to record in public as you do and we have the same snowflakes that melt when their picture is taken and their feelings are hurt. Keep up the good work and hopefully someone like you will help educate our snowflakes.

  12. This is why we need 1st amendment auditors such as yourself. To get the truth! Seems as if the press is one sided in this case. Keep up the great work!

  13. Wow! President Donald J. Trump was Correct!!!
Some Newspapers print Fake News. The article was biased, One Sided Poorly written journalism. ( The video that you uploaded before the Fake Newspaper's poorly written article came out clearly shows you did not go to her office located on the Second floor, they made it seem like you went up there to solely get into her office and you never did, the camera never lies, which proves you need to be able to use video in that public building to protect yourself against a Tyrant. Maybe…
"We the People" could go inside and Record after we call first to ask her permission to do so at

Before they Change the name of the USA to North Korea or China!
Perhaps that's what she wants. I don't know.
God Bless you and the United States of America!

  14. Also, receipt of public funds does not negate the rights of Private 501(c)(3) organizations. So, as many of you keep wanting him to ignore any signage prohibiting filming may want to remember that as a private property tenant or owner you have the right to refuse others to film in your property.

The fact that Amagansett Press not knowing that 501(c)(3) are private not public is shameful of any 1st Amendment Auditor.
You have a weight of a very important document on your shoulders when you use it as a shield. And knowledge is literally your only weapon.
Your videos are, mostly, amazing and I love watching you educate not only tyrannical government agencies and those in their employ but also the citizens that learn from your documentation of these events.

But, you have a responsibility that all press have to ensure you provide the best and most accurate information possible (this is what differentiates News from Entertainment). So, please make sure you educate your viewers on the difference between public (owned by the people) and private publicly accessible.
