UPDATE: The guy arrested in the video was immediately released out the back door of the 9Pct without any charges or summones given.
……..Yesterday while walking to Foley Square, I noticed NYPD Public Safety Officers, formerly Anti-Crime unlawfully stop a vehicle on Essex Street in the LES, so I sprung into action and began recording.
After running the drivers name, it came up that he was recently released from jail and formerly on parole, however, these officers lied and said that he missed a Court Date a month ago, and that he was Wanted, which proved impossible because this brother was just released less than a month ago, and he just seen his parole officer and has no open cases in Court…
The officers did not allow him to call his parole officer to confirm this because they knew that what they said was a lie, IN FACT, I got in contact with one of the passengers in the vehicle, and he told me that when they arrived at the 9Pct, they immediately released him out the back door with no charges, meaning that they lied and kidnapped this brother solely for the reason of trying to get him violated on his Parole.
At the scene, I approached the passengers of the vehicle, told them who I was, and that I was going to provide them with a copy of this video, I did say this while the other officers heard me talking with them, which I think helped get this brother released as soon as he got to the Pct, because I recorded the whole interaction, which most likely changed the narrative ….ALWAYS FILM LAW ENFORCEMENT….without our side of the video, car stops like this would not be on record and the NYPD can make up any lie to screw someone over and get them violated on their parole. #nypd
