A memo was issued to all Commands directing all NYPD Officers to not obstruct or interfere with citizens recording police action from a reasonable distance…CPU was filming an arrest in Harlem of a young girl being arrested for an unknown reason..Our job is to record any police interaction, but officers who have a reason to hide their actions, by blinding people’s camera to hide their misconduct & abuse from being recorded…Both officers were written up for interfering with me recording, and for failing to provide their name & Shield number upon me requesting it…#copwatch #copwatchpatrolunit #nypd
