This is the perfect example why #NYPD Officers are not trained to handle the Mentally Ill…..Here officers from the 25Pct are seen here with a Non-Violent Mentally ill man handcuffed and sprawled out on the floor like a piece of trash…..However officers could of easily propped him up so that he can be sitting up while waiting for an ambulance…This man had committed no Crime or infraction of the Law, nor was he violent or resisting at any time to be handcuffed the way he is…Officers are Untrained to Handle the Mentally ill….My personal take on this matter is that if this man wasn’t a Person Of Color the treatment would of been different……..#Copwatch #CopwatchNYC #MentallyIll #Harlem #NYC #BillDeBlasio #CityHall
