It’s sad to see that the homeless are being arrested for just trying to get to their shelter to have a bed for the night. Its been a long standing tradition that the MTA allows homeless people to get on the bus so that they could get to the shelter, this has been going on for many years. Statistics show that the majority of homeless people do have minor warrants for not paying their past Fines, and the NYPD knows that very well. What you see here is the city of New York Police Department attacking poor people, everyone knows that the M35 bus is the Wards Island bus that takes the homeless to the shelter there and the bus drivers do allow them to go on free. This video clearly shows the NYPD targeting the homeless deliberately…. CPU will continue to go there every night and document this shit, and we are planning to bring people from the Community to there monthly Community Board Meeting that is held at the 25th precinct, so we will be coming!!
