NYPD Officers continue to target the immigrant population in East Harlem through bogus illegal sobriety checks that they do to lure them in to the police station..as we know that the majority of immigrants do not posses a proper Identification Card which prompts the officers to take them in to verify identity, but at the same time puts the guy at risk of being picked up by Immigration Police.. .The NYPD Knows very well of this tactic and uses that to assist the Immigration Police in capturing and detaining illegal immigrants.
