I just saw this. I went on to try and register, but you have to be between 18-55 years old, and I'm only 16. I'm going to try and register once I'm old enough. Thank you for sharing this, more people ought to know about this.

I heard about something like this when I was at basic training in March. Reach out to the troops, I'm sure there are at least some that wouldn't mind an LLD chit for donating!

Those that do genetic testing couldn't there be an optional opt in database to see if there are matches asked by these companies?
I am on the bone marrow registry, I got a call last year that I am a potential match to some one, I was looking forward to donating bone marrow, then I got a letter saying that I wasn't a match 🙁
