Wild Police Chase Of Stolen Car Ends In Fatal Shooting

The District Attorney has completed its investigation of an officer-involved shooting that happened in Whitfield County last year. D.A. Bert Poston says the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Brett Kelby Noblitt by Whitfield County Sheriff’s deputies on November 16, 2015 was justified. The shooting happened after a car chase.

“The investigation was conducted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigations and the undisputed facts establish that the officers’ actions were legally justified,” Poston says.

Poston says members of Mr. Noblitt’s family have been consulted multiple times throughout this process. He says the family was “briefed earlier this week and provided with a complete copy of the investigation.”

The release says the District Attorney’s investigation of the case has ended.

Sheriff Scott Chitwood tells, “I’m pleased with the outcome and we’re moving forward.”

We reached out to the family of Brett Noblitt. His brother Franky Ward sent us the following statement:

“I would like to start my statement by saying I loved my brother more than anyone can comprehend. I would have taken a bullet for him and still would,” Ward tells. “I don’t blame him for not stopping because if he did, he wouldn’t have gotten his two babies back from our corrupt government. Second of all, he never rammed any police cars. I have the truth to prove it. And finally, the officer that was supposedly in front of the Jeep was not, and I can prove that, too.”

  1. Whats his brother really gonna prove?
Is it going to bring him back to life or?!

If this is how you live your life
This is how you lose your life.

    Simple…

  2. I'm always surprised by the luck our LEOs endure at times, regardless of training. Suspect could've pinned the officer between him and his patrol car, in a split second. Or if they decided to shoot through the windshield, the officer would've been right in front at a disadvantage. Anyway, good thing for idiot criminals.

  3. 1:23 ok that deputy is very fucking lucky that his perp didn't either blow him away or run him over, that sort of stunt I hope he got yelled at for and for good measure disciplined, also had he shot the suspect being in front of him at that position, the department wouldn't be able to protect him since it technically would be a situation he put himself in to, so points to being proactive, points deducted for bad decision making.

  4. Officers need GoPros for bodycams because sometimes the quality of these cams is shit.

  5. Brother of the guy said he would still take a bullet for his brother . . . what, if it slowed the rotting process??!!

  6. What was good about this one is when zoomed in and slowed down you can see his skull burst against the window covering it with blood and brain matter. He didn't feel a thing it was that quick and frankly it was enchanting but joyous. The cops went out after and ate a huge breakfast…

  7. Unjustified shooting. If the cops don’t want to get dragged with the car don’t stick your hand inside and hold on when the suspect tries to drive away. It doesn’t matter if it’s constitutional, standard practice and training it’s just stupid to do that.

  8. Everytime I've been pulled over a gave tye respect that I got from the officer. Why can't people just comply? And why doesn't the academies train better? This was justified.

  9. Nothing funnier than after the cops shoot at a suspect that try to escape being had & the vehicle comes to a stop, they say show me your hands put your hands up, get out the car which one of these things you want him to do, the guy was dead instantly on the shots fired he can't respond to the commands. They say the same line over & over. Oh ps no thug comments in the comment section he must not be blk…🤔

  10. Maybe his brother can prove that he was on his way to choir practice…well, he went from being a baritone to a soprano in an instant…no loss..no loss at all..

  11. Usual excuses from family , he was such a good boy, its the government's fault, one makes choices in life cop the consequences!
