Mulberry, Arkansas — Newly released dashcam footage Shows Arkansas State Police troopers giving chase to a Driver who fled from traffic stop on a rental Chevy Silverado. The chase began shortly after 7:20 p.m. in the Van Buren area, when the driver of a black pickup truck fled the traffic stop and led troopers on a high-speed chase. As trooper Matthew Price enters the chase, the truck is seen weaving in and out of traffic, blowing thru the intersection along the roadway at a high rate of speed. With each passing second, the chase appears to get more dangerous as the trooper Price attempts a PIT maneuver on the vehicle and tried to block the vehicle in but the vehicle was able to regain control and speed off. At one point, the chase reached speeds of 122 miles per hour in an area where the speed limit was 45. Around 7:35 p.m. at Mulberry Hwy 64 W, a trooper in an ASP cruiser used a PIT maneuver to spin the suspect vehicle to a stop.

Several other cruisers then surrounded the vehicle and troopers emerged, guns drawn. A pregnant woman was discovered in the back seat of the truck and a male subject in the front passenger seat. The driver and the other passengers then came out of the car and were taken into custody. According to the dash-camera footage, the male passenger identified himself as 32-year-old Shaffer Smith, while the driver identified himself as 30-year-old Robert Regal. It’s not clear yet, if the driver gave the real name, as Trooper Price is heard on the dashcam saying that he gave a fake name, twice. The Driver also can be seen on the squad car calling his girlfriend, breaking the news of what just happened to him. According to the ASP, the pregnant woman said that they came from Dallas, she didn’t know who the guys are and she just met them through her boyfriend. She also claimed to have weed with her. There’s no other information.
We’ll update the description once the investigation is finished.

  1. 24:58 I love how Casanova went incoherent/mumbling about the 3rd passenger to his girl, after telling her that his homeboy KeeKee was with him. I wonder how his girl is going to feel, after she learns about the prego white woman that was in the truck with him?? {I'll bet $10,000 that it's Casanova's baby too!}

  2. Made it even worse when you realize that this dirtbag had a pregnant baby momma in the back. F-em give em life. He displays the type of ignorance that will not be corrected.

  3. So I guess Arkansas has the best State troopers because of a high speed chase a d pit maneuver? I love the comments and the experts lmao

  4. These guys are nuts. Trying to pit at 100mph? Blasting through busy intersections, it’s a miracle no innocents lost their lives. Nice takedown in the end though. Good work.

  5. Hope he enjoys being felon, wait he has a lawyer he's either rich or already a career criminal. Pregnant woman and weed are you kidding me. Why the hell does he have his phone after being cuffed?!?

  6. That girl should be crying tears of joy because with him away, she might be able to find a real man and not some second rate thug.
