Why Don’t Teachers Have Bodycams?

#cops #teachers

The public and politicians DEMAND that cops are accountable on camera for every moment they work. Why do we not expect the same from those responsible for massive amounts of times with your kids?

  1. Day care centers every place for a child schools every school room everything video and audio same thing with daycare centers video and audio in every room especially for a child little children they even need to be there in the bathroom to watch out for the pedophiles that might try to touch the children right at the doorway covering entering and exiting for any adults that might enter the restrooms where children will be

  2. I agree that teachers SHOULD wear a body cam or at least have a live stream of the classroom for parents to view.

  3. Oh boy, I wonder if you will have the cojones to answer this comment !?!? Votes anyone ?
    So here we go:
#1- Police have been shown, time and time again to be corrupted by power. While perhaps even the majority of police may act correctly in the pursuit of justice, the teachers shown to be corrupted and a danger to her students are few and far between.
2- Police officers hold people lives in their hands. You may argue that so do teachers, but only in a far off, philosophical type of way, while police carry the immediate power of life and death in their holster.
#3-Finally, because teachers continually train to improve as a teacher and their job is based in helping the children advance, caring about the child's well being and is grounded in love and concern for the child. As such they are trained and work their jobs. While police, on the other hand, are not trained to seek the betterment of a suspect. They are trained to subdue a suspect, with the least amount of damage to *themselves first, bystanders next and only THEN, IF AT ALL, does a suspect's well-being become a cause of concern.
The amount of cases where police used extremely unnecessary force against people who were not a threat are in the hundreds of thousands. How many teachers have ever killed a child ? How many teachers, for whatever reason, choose to ruin a child's life by planting false evidence ? I'll tell you how many cops do….Now, I KNOW the truth hurts, but c'mon, man up and be part of the solution. Not the useless quarter that attacks one of the few positive avenues in a child's life ? Gawd, how scuzzy can you be to conflate the two ?

  4. Somthing to think about and sounds like a great idea, teachers dont have the power to end someone and their word is automatically gospel like they aren't corruptible.

  5. I think teachers definitely need them because i have been genuinely abused by teachers before and even nearly a decade after graduating I'm still working through the trauma

  6. Because they are paid to teach not resemble law enforcement. What next a utility belt with pepper spray, gun and a chalkboard eraser. Most schools already have surveillance cameras.

  7. Unlike police, teachers are in a building almost all the time. I would endorse extensive security cameras throughout school buildings. Let them wear body cams on field trips.

Just don't forget – teachers aren't the only ones in a school that can cause problems. There's bullying of all kinds. There's custodial. There's parents who don't want to get involved.

But yeah, camera up every inch of the building that's not a bathroom.

If you're not doing anything wrong, what do you have to worry about?

Oh, so…police objecting to body cams…perhaps they're doing something wrong?

  8. possibly the best consideration of the previous 65 yrs. hopefully I get to be a father one day with children in school & their teachers will have body cam because this society is gone. the next will be best prepared to keep from the wayside we've witness thousands of bots & a handful of people fall into
