In Oklahoma, you actually loose your driver's license if you fail to sign a citation. It's stated when you sign for it at the DMV or Tag Agency.
So, instead of just an $80 equipment violation (which in most cases are dismissed if you can fix it) she got a felony, possible assault on a peace officer, resisting arrest, and got her license taken away…. over an $80 traffic ticket. SMH
