  1. Of course a cop is going to say some of these are legal exceptions, but there are 6 that are not constitutionally legal, regardless rather they're practiced by law enforcement officers (or office-turds as i call them). As for a male searching a female there are palms out requirements in the law, and a few others upto and including getting a suspect's consent prior to the opposite gender search. Anytime a male office-turd searches a female you can bet that there is a lawsuit and a settlement. Cops need to stop spreading these "We Have The Right Too…" excuses, it costs us tax payers everytime they fuck up. If you can't be an honest civil servant then go flip burgers at Burger King (which by the way carries the same threat percentage that one might be shot from someone in the general public as being a cop does, and last time i was at Burger King i don't remember the cook going around shooting unarmed citizens in the back, then lying about it) ……………………

  2. They should conduct inventory on calls on all tows not just cop orcistrated ones. I had a odem reader stolen by a tow driver

  3. Once had a cop search my car because he said he smelt weed ….he asked if he could search it I said “no sir I don’t have weed in my vehicle” he then said “well this can go two ways you let me search your car or I get the dog to come out scratch your cars paint and ruin your seats”……he went through my whole car put me in cuffs over a speeding ticket and FOUND NOTHING ! BTW I never got a court hearing for the ticket nor a letter In the mail for court …..told an attorney about it the attorney said he will cost a lot to sue to just let it go….also the attorney told me he probably didn’t turn in the ticket because his whole stop was probably BS

Yes I was young, 21 with a sports car (350z) not to flex but to tell you how I felt profiled

  4. Hi Mike, great video! I’m in Canada however I imagine the rule on this is the same there as it is in the states, but a question for you regarding the “Terry Stop/Frisk”: If an officer is frisking you and they pass over your pocket and you have your phone or other electronic device inside, if it’s during a Terry, can they decide to make you unlock your device and show them what’s on it on the spot, without a warrant in that case? Or do they require a warrant to extend the search to that? Thanks

  5. The exceptions I see are:
    I smell pot…..
    Driving while black
    We got a call
I have the right to search you
    You are detained
Whose drugs are these? (there isn't any)
    Do you have ID?
    why are you here???
Do you know what time it is?
    Where did you stash it?
There's meth on the floor… (Crispy creme glaze or if in a baggie its cotton candy)

  6. HOT PURSUIT Into a house. Cop gets to the front door Cop hears Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang… The cop says I am not going in there!!! Out comes little old granny with a frying pan! Little old Granny says "That not so nice man didn't wipe his feet at the front door so I spanked him across the head! The Cop goes in and finds this 280lbs man tied up and out cold. A police officer asked the little old lady how in the heck did you knock him out. The lady picks up her fraying pan and says like this and hits the Office in the face and knocks him out too!

  7. Never cooperate with police, never never give consent to search, always remain silent except to demand representation by an attorney!

  8. NEVER! SHOW me Mike the cop EXACTLY WHERE the exception lies in the 4th amendment? IT DOES NOT and personally, I DO NOT GIVE A FUCK what corrupt courts say, no warrant TRY and enter, you will NOT like the outcome.

  9. So many ways to get around the forth amendment might as well do away with it the founding fathers would kill over if they saw American law imforcement today

  10. Three separate felonies should land you in the slammer for the rest of your natural life or age 80 (whichever comes first); safely sequestered from any contact with the rest of us who just want to live peacefully. There should never be a person among us with multiple felony convictions.

  11. One of my problems is that cops are trained to and legally allowed to lie in the furtherance of their job. To me, that sets up a mindset that lying is THE way to do the job, and allows some very skeevy personality types to flourish in the department.
A similar situation would be someone trained to treat enemy combatants as sub-human. Then you get events like the Bataan Death March.

From my time in the military, one mantra was "train as you will fight" (or words to that effect).

  12. At 9:50 Mike explains what a "Terry stop" is. I always thought a Terry Stop is when a man wearing short shorts and roller skates is being investigated for prostitution.

  13. You can search me any time for any reason and any place Mr. Officer. You may not be able to use That evidence at trial is all.
Hopefully other civilians will figure out: 1) do what the cop says 2) don't resist.
I've no idea how never serveds figure those two basic facts out. Should probably be taught in schools as part of public safety.

  14. If the law tries to enter your home when your property without consent or a search warrant that is trespassing and by a coordinates to the law trespassers can be shot

  15. Hey Mike, I think you meant to say "reasonable suspicion" for the Terry stop, unless it is different in Ohio.

  16. Mike, you did a great job of explaining things in a short and easy to understand way. I want to especially mention the part where you pointed out that there is no law that says a male can only search another male, and vice versa. I often hear people try to argue that females can only be searched by a female. I totally agree that if opposite genders are searching or even frisking each other it should be conducted in front of an audio video camera. Overall this video was excellent!

  17. So the officer on a traffic stop looks into your back window. Anything in plain view is fair game, of course. He sees the seatbelt buckle sitting on the back seat and immediately claims it appears to be a grenade launcher. So he pulls you out of the car to start a justified warrantless search. Once it becomes obvious that everything looks like a weapon to this particular officer and your seatbelt is not a combat weapon, should he keep on searching through every personal envelope you have in your possession to complete the search or call off the search started on suspicious grounds?

  18. There are so many reasons why a warrant isn't warranted. If you want to spout off about your rights then make sure you know them
