Espa̱ola, NM РThe city of Espa̱ola NM received information from the Colorado Department of corrections task force that Dustin McDermott was wanted out of Conejos County Colorado for the charges of Attempted second degree murder, first degree burglary, and First degree murder.
Dustin was living at a residence in Española and Officers began doing surveillance and located him. After a short car chase (not filmed) the vehicle containing Dustin crashed and he fled on foot for a few feet until captured. Our footage shows the moments immediately after the car chase ended.
