32. Back in May of 2020 I was walking in downtown PDX to give blood. The female officer early in the video was guarding the perimeter of the Justice Center. They had a one block perimeter due to the “peaceful” protests that were occurring every night. The same justice Center the mob tried to burn down. When I walked by her I said “thank you for your service, keeping us safe”. I could see the despair and exhaustion in her face. They were all working double or triple shifts at that point. She said “you’re welcome. Thanks for supporting us”.
