  1. "I have my 2nd Amendment rights on my property!"

Until you disobey the government agent telling you to put it away.

  2. I think the police should have never been there to begin with but when a cop tells you to drop a gun you do so for the sole purpose you’ll be shot if you don’t

  3. congratulations you shot an old man in his home who has the right to that weapon that he wasnt aiming at them……hes not john wick and you dont always need to panick

  4. There seems to be lots of discussion whether the man was breaking the law by using binoculars to watch people in a car parked on a public street. First of all, the cops called to the scene never made that determination. All they know is they got a call saying someone was being a "peeping Tom" and they were conducting their investigation. In order to conduct that investigation and to get the story from both sides – the accuser and the accused – they needed to talk to the old man. That's all they were trying to do and they did NOT shoot the old man for spying on people sitting in a car. The officer was compelled to shoot him because he pointed a shotgun at them. Had he not done that and they later determined he did not break any laws, they would informed the others no laws were broken and gotten back in their car and left.

Unfortunately, the old man took the investigation in a direction that probably nobody anticipated for a peeping Tom call.

  5. He was a Hoarder & lived alone. It’s abit sad. He’s lonely & probably a little paranoid of people who sit in their car for 30mins. It doesn’t make him a peeping Tom though.

  6. innocent or not, raising a shotgun at police officers IS what they shot you for. dumbest fucking question ive ever heard in all my 22 years on this earth. like you got binoculars clearly, why not use your super skills of sight to see theyre fucking cops, and NOT go to the door with a shotgun raised. begging to get shot doing dumb shit like that i don't care if he was in his home

  7. Does anyone know if this was fatal? I know it’s usually in the title, and there is also not much in the description

  8. There's something not right about this – police should never have been called to his house in those circumstances.

  9. I dont know much back story but this could easily be an old man who thought there were random people at his door in the middle of the night, and he grabbed his shot gun. He doesnt look lucid and probably hard of hearing. If thats true it was kinda sad to watch this man.

  10. He answered the door with a gun in hand. I didn't see him sweep the officers. Seems like a deaf old man who can't see with light in his eyes.
