I took to snap chat this morning to express my displeasure with the hypocritical “protests” that seem to be going around these days, whether for crazy triggered feminists or people who don’t understand immigration policy and procedure (or history).

Have a different opinion based on actual common sense and reasoning? Great..let’s hear it. Wanna block traffic and punch people who voted differently than you—you can move to the country you think is better. #ByeFelicia

I know this happened a while ago, but nothing has changed liberals are still stupid!! If they'd just do some frigging research instead of believing what they see on CNN this country would be a better place! Even their messiah Hillary has stated how easily manipulated and stupid they are!!!

  21. what sucks is some of them front line protestors as they call themselves get paid more per hour than many of our cops do…pisses me off ,,, accept glendale california i saw an LT there that made 273k a year i think he should donate some money to the flint police dept,,,

Hi Mike, I can appreciate that you'll have a perspective that I don't as a police officer, but I don't follow a few of your points re these protestors.  In the first place, surely it's appreciable that protesting in a non-violent manner, however inconvenient to the general public (and those tasked with policing) serves the purpose of raising awareness of an issue?  Is the intention then in protesting not to foster a public dialogue (which is evidently what is occurring, people are now discussing whether or not there is a 'Muslim ban' etc.) rather than to help any individual refugee?

  25. No, it's not a literal Muslim ban. But if you listened to Trump, it's very obvious the intent. And for the productivity part, I think you're really just not seeing the other side. When people protest it's pretty easy to see. But the people I know who go to protests also work with Immigrants and Refugees in help centers, volunteer at homeless shelters and soup kitchens, take people into their homes and education and so all these things that no one ever hears about! It's easy to criticize protesters because you don't know the other stuff they are doing.

  33. Dude, the ban, whatever you want, or don't want to call it, stopped law abiding citizens, including medical practitioners from seeing their family. The countries were all middle eastern, which do not contain a majority of Christians. If a terrorist group really wanted to get someone into the US, the travel ban would not stop them. This was clearly the president "flexing" his power against people from certain areas and was totally uncalled for.

  34. Late to the party. My issue with the ban was it denied peoples entrance after they have already been processed, investigated and vetted. When the USA grants a green card to a foreign citizen it should also grant them the protections granted by the constitution. Maybe the protestors did not choose the best place or means to protest, but the message was heard.

    Had the ban been simply on the issuance of new visa's and green cards I would have had no problem. Invalidating legally obtained documents without advanced notice was idiotic. Lives were at risk, and I am thankful to the many lawyers who stepped up and helped at the airports across the country.
