Serial Police Impersonator Jail Call #1: Rania Mohamed Dewitte

Note: The first part of the description below was written for this channel’s Patreon supporters, who had previously been recruited to try and decipher Jeremy’s words, and who saw this video a bit under a week ago. Absent that context, however, the first half of the description will make little sense.

This past week you were presented with the first two words spoken on this phone call. Asked to write what you heard Jeremy saying, your answers ranged from “Hey Grandma” to “Hey Gremlin” to “Hey Kremlin!” to “Let’s get some speed! Let’s at least get to 100!”

A couple of commenters went above and beyond, writing both “Hey Gremlin,” and suggesting – accurately – that “gremlin” might be a pet name for Jeremy’s wife Rania (of “Where’s my BAADGE Rania?!” fame.)

There was, of course, far more to their call than the words “Hey Gremlin.” And you’ve waited long enough; here are the rest of them.

Fair warning: this is humanizing material. Jeremy and Rania even have a puppy.

Miscellany:

-At 7:51 Jeremy tries to sound upset, but fails, when he says that he is going to have to get new gear.

-At 9:30 Jeremy claims that Sergeant DeStefano’s name does not appear in any of the reports from his arrest. That is not the case. Sergeant DeStefano filed a supplemental report.

-As of a few days ago, two more jail calls – featuring attorney Amir Ladan and Metro State ‘officer’ Steven Negron – have been posted to Patreon. They will become publicly available here (for free) later this coming week.

-Also coming up, a comprehensive critical examination of Jeremy’s claim that Sgt. DeStefano was disciplined or otherwise forced to resign due to a complaint he had filed. We have a copy of every complaint ever filed by Jeremy with Orange County Sheriff’s Office, spoke with a former supervisor of Sgt. DeStefano, and more.

  1. These officers are talking crap about me and I'm like this is going to make it harder for me on the streets with my team.

You should know by now they don't want you on their streets

  2. You can tell his wife and his mom are so tired of his nonsense. He just rambles while you can hear the eye rolls over the phone.

  3. This is humanizing. It shows that even crazy people can have a good sympathetic side.
And I disagree with the commenters saying that they don’t seem to have a good relationship.
Just the opposite. He talks to her with respect, she is probably a perfect wife for him.
A Mideastern women who stays at home, gives her husband total authority, and leaves all the real life stuff to her husband. So it works.

  4. Dewitte even has "Jeremy's Story Hour" with the ONE person that you need to be honest with in life. In addition it is all DewittaDrama. "me me ME!"

  5. He doesn't even really ask how she and the family are at first just almost straight into his problems. I know they have limited time but I've just started this.

Edit: Ah they have a bit of family chit chat later. But still, not a good way to start. But it is mainly her discussing that.

  6. I always get a chuckle when Jeremy says “we’ve been doing it like this for 10years” so based off of that brilliant thinking I guess if a bank robber robs banks for 10 years & never gets caught it’s all good, right Jeremy 👌

  7. Jeremy needs to take an anger management class and a class on communication.he should not cary gun or handcuffs. Flashlight ,tourniquet and maybe some glove. He doesn’t needaa that gear.

  8. I doubt hes saying Kremlin. That's Russian and means someone in power. Unless they call each other Kremlins. It would only make sense if Jeremy wanted Rania to call him Kremlin.

  9. Hey Jeremy, I've always wanted to be a lawyer and I have my own 2nd hand suit so give me a call next time you get arrested playing cop and I'll play lawyer. We could start our own show where you keep doing silly immature things and I show up in my suit and tie and try and explain why your head is broken.

  10. We need the Ballad of Jeremy Dewitte. Just a peace-loving dude minding his own business. Why the law has to harass him so. Sweet widowed grandmas will stick up for him, doing such a good job with their husbands' motorcade.

  11. Someone is going to be seriously hurt or killed on the Road because of this lunatic. The police and the courts need to make sure he goes away for a long time.
