Seattle SWAT Multi Jurisdictional Pursuit: View From The Ground

To skip intro / background info, start at 1:20.

On March 13, 2018 Seattle police officers, assisted by King County Sheriff’s Office Guardian One helicopter, engaged in a pursuit that started around 2pm in Seattle and ended near Auburn. The pursuit involved many units, was at very high speeds, and took place while it was raining out. A house’s front yard was ruined, including the cars that had been parked in the driveway. Police cars were rammed, and multiple (otherwise-uninvolved) vehicles were struck along the way.

It turned out to be the wrong guy.

Police were under the impression that the man behind the wheel of a green pickup truck had been involved in a shooting, but as soon as they had yanked the driver out through his window they knew that their man was elsewhere.

Previously we brought you footage of this pursuit from the air. This time we ride along in a Seattle Police SWAT Tahoe as the suspect’s pickup is rammed and he is taken into custody.

Footage from a different SWAT officer’s body camera will be available on Patreon.

  1. Could 95% of these LEOs not have gone back to work where someone else might have been able to use their services? What is the point of 30 something cops all hanging out on and blocking off a road for that long?

  2. Office Ness (the one who admitted to pitting the guy in the cul-de-sac) I think his name was, wanted to talk sooooo bad! Lol. But EVERYONE was shushing & hushing him! I wonder why? Things that make you go hmmmm….🤔🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

  3. I count at least 6 circle jerks while leading the guy back to the cop car. Its a big game hunt for these guys. No wonder the big game has started shooting back.

  4. All of those “professionals” and they had the wrong guy. Nice community college education/training right there.

  5. I know that the Cops adrenaline was probably pumping, but that was the most stupidist place to Pit that i have ever seen. And to say that "he just hit another car' was just crazy, because it was your fault for pitting there in the first place. I just hope the driver on the oncoming lane was OK and no kids injured.

  6. That poor person driving on the other side of the road when the Cop's pitted that truck and got hit. To much traffic, they should have waited a bit longer.

  7. He hit another vehicle in the oncoming lane because police "pitted" him into that. I have no sympathy for criminals, but let's be honest here.

  8. You really should have had WSP get in there and PIT it because that was terrible. Washington State Patrol troopers are better trained with PIT maneuvers

  9. I really hope the idiots who did the pit were at least forced to be retrained. Seriously doubt it though, probably got a pat on back and a high five for doing a “great job”.

  10. "and when you get a chance send the car right into the oncoming lane" I love how the don't really give a fuck
