  15. Let's limit the accuracy of facts on legal documents. If the "female" box had been checked, would that have been legal grounds to have the ticket tossed? "It says this ticket was issued to a woman. Clearly I'm a man. My DL says I'm a man. So this was not even issued to me and the charge should be dismissed.".

    If it does, did the officer not check the box on the license? If officer did check same box, and the dude complains that the info isn’t accurate, could that be considered a false ID.

  34. People don't always choose how they identify, but they can choose how they express and communicate on it.
    "Choosing" to be transgender can be the same as choosing identify as raised by a single mom. Just because you bring it up doesn't make who the person is less valid. Saying 'you are not male' is interpreted the same as saying 'you were not raised by a single mom'.
    There will always be fussy and unreasonable people with nonsense expectations of other people. I do hope this analogy helps you and others empathize with the less media-worthy (cringey) among them.
