Easy to solve and prove on the spot. All he needs to do is show no phone calls were conducted in the last couple minutes on his phone by letting the officer look.

I got pulled over and ticketed for running a red light. The cop was 100% wrong. He had me out of my car, facing his as he asked me many questions. I told him the light turned green on my side. He asked if I was on medication. I took the ticket and I was pissed because I didn't run the light but I didn't say anything to the cop. I did talk to a friend the next day and he asked me how many traffic violations have I done in my lifetime that I didn't get caught for. My goodness how could I even count them. He said to pay this one as an amends for all the ones I never got caught for. Wow, what a powerful lesson to learn.

Could of just shown the cop his call log to prove he wasn't talking on the phone. If that didn't work, just request a copy of your phone records from your provider and compare it to the time the ticket was issued. Judge will dismiss it right away
